“An Evening with Publicsfear” featured readings and presentations from publicsfear contributors Sean Landers and Kerri Scharlin. Landers read excerpts from Dear Publicsfear, his artist’s project from publicsfear 1 (1992) and Scharlin revisited—and updated—her Kerri: A Color/Activity Book project from publicsfear 3 (1993). I opened the evening with a brief introduction and tribute to Pamela A. Ivinski (1963–2018), the cofounder and coeditor of the art zine. A reception for the event, which related to the Printed Matter exhibition The Publicsfear Archive, followed.
