This event at Printed Matter was a celebration of the publication of Esopus Drawings, a compilation of 25 graphite-on-paper works related to Esopus magazine, which had suspended publication earlier in 2018, after the span of 15 years and 25 issues. Over the summer of 2018 I reflected on the magazine’s history as I worked on the series of drawings, completing them during my residency at the MacDowell colony that August.

The book took the form of a a fascimile sketchbook, and an edition of it served as the Fall 2018 Esopus Premium subscriber limited-edition artwork.
