I was invited to speak about conception and execution of the publication at the Design Research, Writing, and Criticism MA Program’s Fall 2011 Lecture Series at the School of Visual Arts. The title of my talk was “More Than Words,” a reference to the fact that Esopus generally took the position of presenting works of contemporary art and design with minimal critical framing.
