“Today” is about one of those days when you’re in a kind of ecstatic state—finding beauty and connection in everything you experience. There is no better place than New York City to turbocharge that type of euphoria. For this video, I shot approximately 500 clips of people, places, and things I encountered over the course of several days on the NYC subway, in Times Square, Chinatown, Harlem, Union Square Park, Brooklyn, Queens—basically every sector of the city I could reach.

The resulting video, beautifully edited and directed by my frequent collaborator Kyle Garrett, is a kaleidoscopic collage of the rich diversity and endless energy of NYC.
