In the summer of 2024, I was asked by Sebastian Clark, the cofounder of Isolarii, to create a playlist for the avant-garde media company’s “Sunset” series. These playlists, created by the likes of Jarvis Cocker, Tangerine Dream, and Pipolliti Rist over the past several years, are always broadcast at the beginning of sunset from Alicudi, an island off the coast of Sicily.
