This track was inspired by the boilerplate disclaimer found in the fine print of every prescription (“Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects”) with the goal of turning the phrasing into a meditation on the precarious relationship between patient and doctor—and life and death.
