This was the first track I released from my covers album Closer Than They Appear (2022). I had every one of the Alan Parson Project’s albums on heavy rotation as a kid, and their beautiful, haunting hit single “Time” (1981) still remains a favorite. This version takes the original song in a slightly darker, and definitely more electronic, direction.
