This exhibition, which took place in the Media Room of The Future Perfect's Goldwyn House in Los Angeles, comprised several components: A single-channel video installation; two framed photographs from the “Private” series, and a limited-edition multiple of the video. A related performance piece by the actor Mina Badie took place at the VIP opening of the 2024 Frieze Art Fair, Los Angeles, on Thursday, February 29.

On Friday, March 1, The Future Perfect hosted a talk, book signing, and reception at The Goldwyn House. I was joined by the author Matthew Specktor (Always Crashing in the Same Car) for a lively discussion about this body of work and its subject matter.
