“In Process” was a series of conversations with creative professionals I presented over the course of a year at Soho House and Dumbo House in New York City. Its goal was to offer insight into the creative process of individuals working in a wide range of disciplines.This installment of the series featured an advance screening of Amazing Grace, the highly regarded Aretha Franklin documentary that was released the following week. The screening was followed by a discussion with Alan Elliott, the film’s producer, who detailed the nearly 15-year process required to bring the documentary to screen.
